About the exhibition
The 6th International Exhibition of Medicines and Related Industries (Iran Pharma 2020) will be held from October 1st to 3rd, 2019 at Tehran International Exhibitions located in Imam Khomeini Mosque (RA).
The pharmaceutical industry is known as the most profitable industry in the world. On average, its profit margin is estimated at 18%. The constant increase in life expectancy as the most important indicator of the development of societies in the matter of health shows the increasing attention of the people of the world to the category of health and the ever-growing market of this product. Iran has also been among the countries with strategic power in medicine, treatment and health system, relying on scientists in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals. According to experts, the drug knowledge chain has been fully established in Iran and the knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is such that 98% of the country’s pharmaceutical needs are met through domestic production.
In this regard, the International Exhibition of Pharmaceuticals and Related Industries (IranPharma) is held every year by the Syndicate of Human Pharmaceutical Industry Owners of Iran and with the support of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, with the slogan “Export-oriented domestic products” and in order to introduce the capabilities of the pharmaceutical industry.
The 6th international exhibition of pharmaceuticals and related industries (Iran Pharma 2020) with the aim of introducing the capabilities and potential of the country’s pharmaceutical industry, presenting the latest developments and achievements of the pharmaceutical industry, familiarizing with new markets and creating the necessary platform for the transfer of technical knowledge from October 1 to 3, 2019 in Tehran international exhibitions are held in Imam Khomeini mosque.
The biggest pharmaceutical gathering of the country and the Middle East region is going to be held in a space with an area of 43 thousand square meters and with the presence of 550 domestic and foreign companies in the pharmaceutical industry from more than 30 countries of the world and with the participation and presence of more than 100 scientific and student associations in the field of health. More than 40 thousand experts are expected to visit the exhibition. In this way, the said exhibition is a good opportunity for the participation and presence of knowledge-based pharmaceutical companies and attracting investors and providing insurance services.
Also, on the sidelines of this exhibition, the fifth exhibition of specialized medical, pharmaceutical and academic books and the fourth exhibition of health-oriented media will be held in order to triage, encourage and expand health culture.
The companies present in this exhibition in the fields of pharmaceutical raw materials, pharmaceutical equipment and machinery, drug distribution, drug printing and packaging, herbal drugs, food and dietary supplements, recombinant drugs, care equipment and knowledge-based companies and scientific centers and are pharmaceutical researchers. Associations, members of the press and pharmaceutical publications are also present in this exhibition.
