He added: The presence of extensive capacities in petrochemical industries has caused the country’s chemical industries to develop in various fields. According to the statistics published by the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade, 322 investment priorities have been defined for the country in 17 industrial areas, and the chemical industry, with 29 investment opportunities, occupies the third rank of the investment priorities table. have given.
Mostofi added: Also, according to the report of the Iranian Statistics Center, in the field of employment, chemical products equivalent to basic metals account for about 10% of the employment of the industry subgroup. In the field of global trade, Iran imports about 2 billion dollars of chemical materials and products from different countries of the world every year.
The head of the headquarters of the second international exhibition of chemical industries and laboratory equipment, stating that in the field of laboratory equipment, Iran is considered one of the largest owners of the laboratory network, he said: there are more than 145 calibration laboratories in the country, 2450 laboratories of the partner institute of the standard department, 5000 laboratories clinical, 120 environmental laboratories, 280 nanotechnology laboratories, 300 collaborating laboratories of the Food and Drug Organization, 480 laboratories that are members of the country’s national laboratory network are reliable proof of this claim.
Mostofi added: Considering the economic situation of the country, this exhibition is a very suitable platform for introducing products, services and increasing sales, communicating with current and potential customers and understanding their basic needs, and obtaining information about market conditions and the process of changes, which is a very important factor in the program.
